Henry Wren died from wounds on 28th May, 1915, after having been brought back to the United Kingdom but as yet, there is no information as to when and where he was wounded. The 3rd Middlesex battalion was part of 85 Brigade, 28th Division, that had arrived in France in January, 1915 and since then had been in the line around Ypres and had been in action during the Second Battle of Ypres in April and May 1915.
